With the cold snap really tightening its grip on England over the course of the weekend just past, sat nav manufacturer TomTom has announced the places where traffic jams were at their worst for LCV drivers.
It said that over the course of Saturday February 4th to Monday February 6th, there were 24 traffic jams in the country in which vehicles were caught for more than three hours.
TomTom said that the biggest problems were seen on the M11 between London and Cambridge, where delays totalled over seven hours.
The M40 in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire/Warwickshire was featured numerous times in the top ten list of most affected areas, with delays of around seven hours hitting van insurance customers on Saturday evening.
Other affected roads included the M1, M42 and M25.
Drivers have been warned to keep vigilant this week and beyond, after the Met Office said that the current cold snap could potentially last a month.
